“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!” Have you been feeling like you are in a boat going down a river and someone else is steering?

We are entering a month where a lot of weddings take place over many months of careful planning and not so careful by some. If you are not married and haven’t been proposed to yet, keep reading.

“God delights in me? Ok…”

Deep in thought I could hear the old patriarchs singing:

“There shall be showers of Blessings send them upon us oh Lord. Grant to us now a refreshing; Come and now honor Thy Word. Showers of blessing, Showers of blessing we need; Mercy-drops round us are falling, But for the showers we plead. ”

I have found myself wondering if I truly believe God wants the best for me. It’s a place I don’t find myself in often, but when I am there I. AM. THERE.

The month of March is known for its unpredictability. Most of all it is known for the windy ides of March. The wind is usually used for kite flying. Expect a lot of changes and if you have stopped flying start back again.

February is the third month of winter and a continual transitioning month. It’s the love month when people think about their sweethearts. We try to find the most heartfelt cards that make our partner seem bigger than life for that one day.

“New Year? No thanks!” This was my friend’s response to my question about goals for the new year. They clarified their answer by stating that everything they hoped for didn’t happen AND that 2020 was their worst year to date.  In all humanity there are so many of us that can relate, because 2020, like every other year, began with great hopes.

January is the first month in the calendar year, but the second month of winter. It is the growing season. God is calling for His people to lay down a clear path for those who are seeking a new way.

Grave diggers are traditionally known for being a part of the final burial process, and grave robbers are traditionally known for removing and unearthing. However, the diggers I am speaking of are ones called to remove the earth created out of doubt, religion, and legalism that have killed and buried thousands under its weight.

We have come down to the last of the 12 months in 2020. As December approached, I began to think that this seemed like three years rolled into one. We are now entering the “clean up month.”

What a mighty God we serve! Our God is an Awesome God, and there is none like Him. Can you believe that God has revealed the truth all throughout August right into September? Awe, September the month we gather up the rest of the harvest, the end of summer, beginning of Fall, and the preparing for the winter months ahead.

This has been one strange season after another! Just when you think you’ve wrapped your mind around the ebb and flow of a pandemic- civil unrest ensues and you’re right back at square one.
